If you are looking for information regarding loan modification, you have come to the right place.
No, I do not mean this website, I am not that cocky. Although I do believe that this website is a great source of valuable information for any homeowner involved or potentially involved in a loan modification, there are hundreds of other sites out their, on the internet, just like mine.
The internet is the correct answer to my question above, that is the best place you can go for information of any kind really, especially on an obscure topic like loan modifications. By obscure, I mean the average Joe and Jill simply do not know much about loan modifications, you cannot talk to your neighbor about your situation, even if he or she does know what they are talking about. You should be hesistant to talk to anyone about your financial situation unless you completely trust them.

Do you have questions regarding your loan modification? That is not a good sign and it is definitely unnecessary to have any questions considering everything you have at your disposal. You have:
- The internet. There are hundreds of sites, including this one, that have countless pages devoted to high quality loan modification content! You should be able to have any question you ever want answered by a simple search on this site or the internet.
- Your lender. If you have questions regarding your specific situation, this is probably your best bet. Your lender should be more than willing to help you out in most situations. What is good for you is good for him/her.
- Your representative. If you have a loan modification attorney/company/ lawyer working for you, this would be a great option to have any questions you have with your situation answered. In the end, isn’t that what you are paying him/her for?

Loan modification processing
There is a lot of work involved with a loan modification. It is a grueling 90 day process that will be very hard on the homeowner and every one else involved physically and mentally. A lot of this time and effort is put into what matters the least, paperwork an elementary school student could figure out and processing of files that appear to take forever.
If you want to cut down on the work and time it takes to complete a loan modification, consider hiring a loan modification processing company. It is rare for an individual homeowner to work with a processing company, so at least try to talk with your lender and whoever else you are working with about the possibility of working with a processing company, it could save you a lot of time and heartache!

The government is starting to play a bigger role in the economy, including loan modifications, like it or not.
Pro’s of government involvement in loan modifications:
- Reduces scammers. As we all know, there are going to be dozens of people and companies attempting to take advantage of you at one of your weakest points financially, avoiding scams is vital. Scammers would much rather have to scam one single person instead of having to deal with a person and the government taking action as well.
- Cuts out the unqualified. A lot of people are going to try to get “a piece of the pie” when it comes to your loan modification. Fee’s resulting from a loan modification can end up being between 2-5 thousand dollars, so it is obvious that many people would love to get all or a chunk of that money, it makes for a nice payday. The government is placing strict restrictions on who exactly can work on and profit from a loan modification.
