Loan modifications are most prevalent in California. More prevalent in California than in any other state, the state’s population and dire economic straits is much to blame.
It is very important that you notice any and all of the loan modification programs in the state of California if you live their. You need all of the help you can get when you are in a do or die situation. You will either lose your house and your life will change dramatically for the worse, or you can keep your house, it is all about how your loan modification goes.
Unfortunately California as a state is in a pretty bad situation itself. The government had to issue IOU’s a couple of months ago. There is simply no extra money to go around. Therefore there are little to no loan modification programs their, they simply do not have the money for it. It is all up to you, you have to make your situation into what it needs to be.
I am going to begin to make every effort to show my readers that I have a deep distaste for loan modification software.
You pay hundreds, sometime even thousands of dollars for a piece of software that is not going to end up doing you any good. With all the money you are putting into a piece of software, you could actually hire a human being. Someone with experience in the field, someone who can can call and talk to you, someone who will be their for you… Why even bother with software, that is just a dumb move in my opinion.
I can understand why some would be tempted to venture into buying loan modification software. I realize that most are desperate when going into a loan modification, they simply do not want to lose their home’s and have to start off from square one again, but overpaying for software will not help your situation one bit, I promise. Don’t make your situation any worse than it already is.
For some reason many think that loan modifications only hit the poor, or the lazy, but foreclosures and loan modifications can happen to anyone.
If your investment property is facing foreclosure then you need to treat it like you would with your actual house. You need to fight tooth and claw to save your property, because if you don’t, it will be gone before you know it.
You need to make sure that you know the ins and outs of your situation. How much money is coming in and out each month, can you “cut down” anywhere? Do you have any money anywhere else you can use to help pay for your investment property?
You also need to know everything about the loan modification process. I have 100+ articles written on loan modifications here and there are hundreds of other great websites related to loan modifications that you can check out.
You do not have to lose your home or your investment property if you do not want to.
Loan modification software is the biggest craze nowadays for some reason. A new product called the sx3 has come out which is marketed as a powerful new amazing software. I might be wrong because I have never tried out the product so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I personally am not buying it.
I’m not buying that some special new software is going to somehow revolutionize an entire industry. That the “sx3″ will save your life and allow you to get through your loan modification in one piece and allow you to save your home.
Loan modifications are great things when done correctly, you get to save your home and everyone wins in the end. But do not let any scammers out their make your situation worse than it already is. You do not need a random 2,000 dollar piece of software to complete a successful loan modification and get on with your life. With that money you could hire an actual human being to guide you through the process. Don’t waste your money on this garbage.
Loan modification’s are great when they are used correctly. They can help the homeowner save their home and the bank does not have to lose money foreclosing on a home. But the process is not easy as everyone who has gone through a loan modification knows and there can be lasting credit damage resulting from a loan modification.
Loan modifications are definitely not good for your credit rating/ fico score. Your credit rating means everything in terms of financing, it can determine how much money you can borrow and at what rate for just about anything, a car, a house, a business loan…
The exact damage a loan modification does on your credit score is still relatively unknown, to tell you the truth, it all depends on your particular situation. However I do know one thing, a foreclosure or bankruptcy is not any better for your credit rating, in fact it is much worse. If you are behind on your mortgage a loan modification is your only real option if you are looking for a happy ending.
